Allt Gleann Batch Strength is a robust expression in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, bottled at 61.1% ABV. This heavily peated single malt is crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and re-fill whisky casks. With its intense concentration of flavour, this release showcases Torabhaig’s signature smoke, salinity, and malt sweetness, delivered with a powerful and full-bodied profile.
NOSE : Oaky vanilla, beach bonfire smoke, cigar box, and lemon peel. bonfire smoke, salinity, maltiness, and sweet, vanilla-led oaky spice.
PALATE : The peat smoke continues, with oily citrus, hints of tropical fruit, vanilla biscuits, and a medicinal undertone.
FINISH : A touch floral, with orchard fruit, savoury peat smoke, and sea salt.
