The Whisky
This single malt, drawn from an Oloroso cask, offers a richer, darker twist on our house style - still unmistakably Torabhaig, but full of brooding warmth.
On the nose, treacle and dried fruits rise through a soft, acrid smoke - Christmas pudding by the fireside. The palate is thick and creamy, with peat spice, clove and a sweet, raisiny finish. The smoke lingers gently, leaving behind a warm pepper glow.

Treacle sweetness is immediately prominent on the nose followed by dried fruit - prunes and dates. There is an acrid smokiness and Christmas pudding layer.
The smoke on the palate is reminiscent of peat spice with peppercorn. There is dominant notes of clove and sundried fruit sweetness - Raisins. The finish is soft smoke which dissipates quickly leaving a gentle pepper spice lingering. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick.
