Welcome to Torabhaig Distillery
Welcome to Torabhaig, a small, independent distillery part of the Sleat Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. We love exploring subtle, elegant flavours of peat inspired by our beautiful surroundings and thriving community. This is how we create our signature smoke flavours - a house style called ‘smoke with taste’.
The Whisky
This single malt, drawn from a Pedro Ximénez hogshead, brings the boldest sweetness in the line-up - layering deep syrup notes over our signature smoky backbone. A richly expressive dram, where cask and character find their stride.
On the nose, thick molasses and cereal sweetness rise first, followed by burnt raisin, toasted fruit, and a thread of light, lingering smoke.
The palate is bold and concentrated- raisin, caramelised sugar, and PX richness balanced by a savoury edge and coastal brine. Sweet but never cloying. The smoke stays present, steadying the sweetness from start to finish.

A bold cask influence that layers sweetness over smoke.
Nose: Intensely rich, with thick syrup sweetness, molasses, and cereal notes. Burnt raisin and toasted dried fruits add depth, while a light but definite smoke threads through the profile.
Palate: Concentrated flavours of burnt raisin and caramelised sugar, balanced by a savoury edge and briny undertones. The PX cask delivers richness without overwhelming the distillery’s smoky core.
