Unsere sechste Club Reserve-Abfüllung, exklusiv für Mitglieder von Torabhaigs Peat Elite. Es handelt sich um eine Abfüllung von zwei Einzelfässern, Nummer 1442 und 1444. Diese Whiskys wurden über vier Jahre in zwei First-Fill- und Refill-Bourbonfässern aus amerikanischer Eiche gereift, gefolgt von einer zweiten Reifezeit von 14 Monaten in mittelstark gerösteten Cognacfässern aus französischer Eiche. Hergestellt aus Concerto-Gerste mit Torfgehalten von 30,3 ppm und 31,9 ppm, verleiht der Fassvorgang dieser Ausgabe zusätzliche Komplexität mit fruchtigen und vanilligen Eichennoten. Diese Kombination zusammen mit einem jugendlichen Feuer und unserem typischen eleganten Torf schafft ein einzigartiges und unvergessliches Geschmackserlebnis. Tasting Notes

NOSE : Light smoke, oak spice, vanilla, and apple peel with a touch of hazelnut and cinnamon on the nose

PALATE : Deft on the palate with subtle spice, some complexity, and a touch of spirit fire.

FINISH : Overall, this cognac finish appears to have disguised the peat slightly with notes of oranges and allspice.
