Notre sixième embouteillage de la Réserve du Club, exclusif aux membres du Peat Elite de Torabhaig. Il comprend l'embouteillage de deux fûts uniques, les numéros 1442 et 1444. Ces whiskies ont été vieillis pendant plus de quatre ans dans deux fûts de bourbon en chêne américain, de premier remplissage et de remplissage, suivis d'une deuxième période de maturation de 14 mois dans des fûts de cognac en chêne français à toast moyen. Élaboré avec de l'orge Concerto avec des niveaux de tourbe de 30,3 ppm et 31,9 ppm, le processus de vieillissement dans cette édition introduit une complexité supplémentaire avec des notes de fruits et de chêne vanillé. Cette combinaison, associée à une vigueur juvénile et à notre tourbe élégante caractéristique, crée une expérience de dégustation unique et mémorable. Embouteillé à la force du fût, sans filtration à froid ni coloration. Disponible uniquement dans le cadre de notre adhésion Peat Elite.
Tasting Notes

NOSE: The immediate note is a strong freshly lit bonfire smoke followed by a heavy pepper/rye warmth spice. There is toffee apple sticky sweetness layered with sweet caramel. There are undertones of citrus sweetness, salty sea air and a grassy/fresh hay notes.

PALATE: There is a heavy cereal note behind the slightly softened peat warmth with earthy characteristics. A candied sweetness comes through with a subtle hint of vanilla and butterscotch. There are hints of menthol spice which is predominant at the front of the mouth.

FINISH: The finish is sweet almond/marzipan with a pleasant peat smoke spice. The finish lingers more at the front of the mouth which is unusual compared to the traditional Torabhaig which tends to be dominant at the back.
